A logo is a graphic mark of a company or institution. It is created in a unique graphic style representing a mixture of graphic elements (visual and typographic units) or is an explication of a specific graphic solution. A logo should be designed in a simple and clear manner, being momentarily recognizable as an application both in color and in black and white print as well. Graphically complex logos are not popular nowadays and are hard to remember.

A logo has to do with the brand of a company. In this sense, the logo is nothing else but the visual identity of a company, organization or institution. Logo represents the company, its business and distinguishes it from the competitors. The simplicity of shape and form, choice of color, modern typography and art solution are the characteristics of a good logo design.

Corporate colours

An integral part of the visual identity are corporate colours. The heading and interface of a company site entail implementation of the company logo in the left-hand-side corner and background colour of the company, which includes the heading and the central navigational system. Company logo is a hotlink (hyperlink) which under the Web convention leads the user back to the home page. Corporate colours must not be ‘vague’. it is best to take one of the 16 basic colours to be the corporate colour. While making the selection of the corporate colours, the meaning of the colours in our culture should be taken into consideration and the colour that expresses the line of business of the company should be chosen.

Understanding the psychology of colours is very important to designing an effective logo

Every colour, including black and white, has implications for logo design. As a logo agency we need to pick our colours carefully to enhance specific elements of the logo and bring nuance to our message with the use of shade and tone.

In general terms, bright and bold colours are attention-grabbing but can appear brash. Muted tones convey a more sophisticated image, but run the risk of being overlooked. More specifically, particular meanings are ascribed to different colours in society...

Red implies passion, energy, danger or aggression; warmth and heat. It has also been found to stimulate appetite, which explains why it is used in so many restaurants and food product logos. Choosing red for your logo can make it feel more dynamic.

Orange is often see as the colour of innovation and modern thinking. It also carries connotations of youth, fun, affordability and approachability.

Yellow requires cautious use as it has some negative connotations including its signifying of cowardice and its use in warning signs. However it is sunny, warm and friendly and is another colour that is believed to stimulate appetite.

Green is commonly used when a company wishes to emphasise their natural and ethical credentials, especially with such products as organic and vegetarian foods. Other meanings ascribed to it include growth and freshness, and it's popular with financial products too.

Blue is one of the most widely used colours in corporate logos. It implies professionalism, serious mindedness, integrity, sincerity and calm. Blue is also associated with authority and success, and for this reason is popular with both financial institutions and government bodies.

Purple speaks to us of royalty and luxury. It has long been associated with the church, implying wisdom and dignity, and throughout history it has been the colour of wealth and riches.

Black is a colour with a split personality. On the one hand it implies power and sophistication, but on the other hand it is associated with villainy and death. More mundanely, most logos will need a black and white version for use in media in which colour is not available – and there is currently a trend for bold monochrome logos and word marks.

White is generally associated with purity, cleanliness, simplicity and naiveté. In practical terms, a white logo will always need to stand in a coloured field to make it show up on a white background. Many companies will choose to have a coloured version and a white version of their logos; for example, the Coca-Cola word mark appears in white on its red tins and brown bottles but is used in red when needed on a white background.

Brown has masculine connotations and is often used for products associated with rural life and the outdoors.

Pink can be fun and flirty, but its feminine associations means it is often avoided for products not specifically targeted at women.

New logo is made as a part of cooperation between a prominent business leaders and marketing and graphic design experts. All of these have to be closely linked to create a good visual identity. Clients Requirements:The one of the clients activities are „custom trips“, self-made trips, we thought about some puzzle looking logo. The colors we most liked are black, gray and red, so we would like to have those colours in our logo.

Our Work:
After we sent many sketches, the simple and striking logo is chosen by the client. The letter J is airplane trace and the plane is point on the J letter. Of course, the letter J is graphically styled as an airplane trace, but it is readable and clear, so the reader can see and read the letter J. The contrast of red and black is clean. We hope that we helped to the client, and we hope that they will have a lot of clients thanks to our logo.

Our Work:
Logo design for sexy costume shop named “Imam jednu zelju” (I have one wish). Client wanted to, through the brand name, customers express their wishes, what costume should wear their wife, girlfriend. The beauty of design is that creations and imagination have no limits. We inserted sign in the brand name, so logo became the word mark of the brand. This is the brand who should become popular. The styled girl (devil) with the stick and the hat is inserted into the A letter, and that highlights the meaning of this logo. Typography is round and gentle, so the effect of beauty and appealing is highlighting this logo and brand.

Our Work:
The hedgehog is simbol of precision, determination and the need for defense against others. Organic fruits and vegetables is protected with natural resources, so the hedgehog is also the simbol of protection of this estate. This animal is so many times drawn in the logos (Skoda cars for example). How to draw the hedgehog to be simple and recognizable. After so many sketches of logo, we made the hedgehog in the leaf. The complete identity was designed (business cards, memorandum, envelopes, T-Shirts, vehicle branding). Green coloured logo is styled and the font is Cyrilic. There's a small number of logos with Cyrilic font, and it's too bad, because the Cyrilic fonts are available same as Latin.

Logo represents letter X in the sophisticated design style. We wanted to show grace, tenderness and beauty, which is the primary activity of the Xenia Doctor Center. Client demanded pink and blue logo, so we fulfilled their demands. We wanted to made the logo to be minimalistic, because is impossible to draw all the treatments, so that logo would be confusing to customers.

Logo for "Mladenac" nursery

Clients Requirements: Logo is needed for montessori nursery. Montessory program is based on the advanced approach which insists on the several important personal characteristics, which are combining independence, supervised freedom and psycho-psysical child development. This program was developed by Maria Montessori in the beggining of 20th century. The requirenment was to sketch the child who plays dice. The boy must be blonde, and the last block must be 10th in a row.

Our Work:We couldn't experiment with colors too much, because the website was already designed with blue and grey colors, and we should comply with that. We use the letter Č sign, and we added the styled shoe, and we showed that the company activity. Just look old logo and new logo and see the difference.

Our Work: With typografic solution we used Sans serif font family, and from the words Bel Code, we styled two E letters, removed vertical line and we get the six horizontal lines, as a six code lines. In the words of Technical Parking, of two letters "I" we made a small parking. This logo should remind on the company activity and the services which are provided. The combination of black and blue font indicates contrast if the sign was that more evident. The blue color indicates the zone and parking space ie. this color indicates parking places. Font of the capital cut, designed in black, gives the strength and tone of the logo.

Description: Fit for Life has 4 types of exercise. We would like to number 4 is inserted into the logo. Exercise is based on individual work. Use cardio machines, working with those who want to exercise self-defense, kung fu, motor abilities in children.

Our work: At the request of the client, we inserted a number 4 in the logo alone , but so we designed a number 4 in the form of a figure, a person who do exercises. Abstract figure, drawn on purpose , not a defined athlete practicing all day . The body is not intentional to ideal proportions , because there was not even intended to represent literal appearance of a human figure , but to show the silhouette of what task the trainer with whom you practice . A serif font , with a combination of round and sharp shape. Why we decided to use serif font ? Really, works harmoniously with the shape of figure , and even obtained a very nice contrast figure and serif letter , which lengthens the word Fit 4 Life . We have not forgotten the target group, not only men , but also ladies , so this figure as the number 4 the perfect fit with the gentle serif letters.

The client's request: We need a logo design for a supermarket stores
Brand name: CentroMarket
Slogan: it is necessary to devise a slogan
Description: Centromarket is a company that processes dealing with the sale of food products. We want our logo to be remarkably simple. We want the logo to be a maximum of two to three colors . Logo will be used on all printed media: business cards, branding, branding car, on t-shirts, corporate material, on flyers and posters. Later would be needed and graphic standards.

Our work: : We have achieved the requirements that our clients expect . Logo was made in two colors with a clear slogan "Quality every day ." Our work: We were able to design a logo that answered all the requirements of the client. Our idea was that the word cute is blue with the image of the boy above him, a word cutest red with the image of the girl, who had a bruise on his head. We wanted a simple stylized drawing and coloring introduce boys and girls, and to avoid complicated drawing unnecessary details or photos in the logo. Like this logo when reduced to just 2cm, without losing the content and readability. We had to modify font and to deface the individual elements to be unique and tailored to the client’s request. Font follows a linear form and character illustration above. These were filled with all requirements and successfully done work. The best logo design is one that fulfill the requirements of the client, and making it unique in its market.

Logo design Eslavistas

The client's request for a logo Eslavistas was to design a logo that will reflect his agency, whose job is translation from Spanish language into the languages of the Balkan people, from Slovenian, Croatian , Serbian to Macedonian. The task was not easy since it is very difficult for logo, at first glance just a symbol or sign of paint such a broad , yet a certain spectrum of business. Working and drawing sketches for the logo design, we came up with the idea to draw a pen surrounded by the letters. Pen with its clear symbolism, to say something to him or overwritten. In fact here is prescribed from one language to another, or other languages. That's why we made around the entire pen of a combination of letters from the Cyrillic , Latin alphabet with some words from the Spanish language , which overlap one over the other in different sizes and thus create a contrasting and harmonious relationship between each other . The logo is on a black background with a combination of blue and gray. In this case, blue combined with gray should presents the business and corporate character appearance . The capital letter "E " is blue and like that, it breaks the monotony that would be it is all written in gray. In that way, we have such a clear difference between Eslavistas and sufficient contrast and readability.

Logo design for a wine bar represents typographic visual solution. The game of the typography and symbols, in this case, clusters embedded in the letter O. Simple solution logos, so that we harness the power of typography in the service of the logo. So in that case, only the name is the logo. The colors are simple contrast between the black, white and purple. In the typography we have achieved contrast alternation of thin and thick lines in the fonts themselves, therefore the achieved effect of elegance and charm, which the guest needs to get away in a wine bar, as well as the wine he drinks. The slogan " I love my wine bar" is different typography of the logo, so as not to disturb the harmony and design of the logo, but it is in harmony with the logo . The slogan here has a role to convey the message of the brand. Logo can be used with or without slogans and always in consistent and harmonious relationship.
